Mkuu wa mkoa wa Dar es salaam Paul Makonda amefanikiwa kupata miguu ya bandia itakayoweza kuwasaidia wananchi wenye mahitaji. Miguu hiyo yenye thamani ya Shilingi Milion 800 itatolewa bila malipo kwa wananchi waliopata ajali na kushimdwa kupata miguu hiyo kutokana na kushindwa kumudu gharama za kununua miguu hiyo ambapo mguu mmoja unagharimu Milion tatu. Kwa mantiki hiyo amewatangazia wananchi wote wenye mahitaji ya miguu ya bandia na hawana uwezo wa kumudu gharama kufika ofisini ya mkuu wa mkoa siku ya Jumatatu na Jumanne kwaajili kukutana na wataalamu wa miguu watakaochukua vipimo kwaajili ya kutengenezewa miguu kulingana na maumbile yao. Amesema miguu hiyo ya watu 200 itatolewa kwa awamu hii ya kwanza ambapo kama mahitaji yatakuwa makubwa na wafadhili wakaongezeka itatolewa tena kwa awamu nyingine lengo likiwa ni kuwasaidia wananchi kutotumi
