5 food favorites for the bachelorette!
1.Stir chicken with Cashew nuts and mushrooms.
This meal
is exceptionally delightful because it is a combination of 3 delicious
things – cashew nuts, mushrooms and chicken. The portions are enough for
one and if you don’t have a huge appetite then you can save some for
breakfast as well. It’s also a great meal to have because if you finish
all the chicken and nuts, you’re left with its soup, which is a great
evening drink – enjoyable during those cold rainy nights. It also goes
well with some whole meal brown bread and melted butter. You can order

Being a
single woman, I often find myself in the nerve-wracking situation being
in the market not knowing what I want. It’s a constant debate in my
head. Now this has a double meaning; the first one gives the impression
that I’m out there in this big world, spoilt by choices as to whom to
date or not; while the other one refers to being in an actual
marketplace with fruits, vegetables and all kinds of foods without
knowing what to buy. The second scenario is more likely true and here’s
why: each month comes along with the will power of living a healthy
lifestyle, not only do you want to keep your well-being balanced but
also as a younglady being still ‘in the market’, you do want to look in
shape and presentable – a word I have chosen modestly. So each month I
go out on a shopping spree to buy every green vegetable I can find in
the market, only for it to grow new extensions of fungi in my fridge,
eventually not safe for human consumption.
My heart
goes out to the bachelorettes out there, as I can relate to the above
dilemma.Unlike the bachelor, who can get away with eating chips mayai
and Nyama choma 5 days a week with no guilt, while the bachelorette’s
strength of mind will prevent her from indulging herself with unhealthy,
greasy food for more than one day in a row – even that is pushing it.
And so I
have taken the liberty to list 5 of my favourite meals which I have
ordered online viahttps://www.hellofood.co.tz/. These cuisines are a
combination of many things for the single lady – comfort for heartbreak,
food to hoard off the cold weather and much, much more:
2.Chicken Caesar Salad
I can’t
lie to you, for me salad was always for pretentious people who want you
to think they’re watching their weight but secretly compensate in their
homes by overindulging in both greasy food and beer when no one is
watching. Many don’t know how to do a Salad and the main put off is that
there’s always more green leaves than there is everything else and this
makes lots of saladstorturous to the tongue as it is to the stomach –
very bland. Not the case with the Chicken Caesar salad though. This is a
wonderfully balanced meal with lots of tongue favorites such as grilled
chicken strips, baby leaf lettuce, parmesan shavings, cucumber ribbons
and croutons with a creamy Caesar dressing. See here. https://www.hellofood.co.tz/restaurant/t8hl/news-cafe
3.Philly cheese steak Pizza
Pizza is
the ultimate comfort food and we all think that health and pizza can
never work hand in hand. So I’m not even going to try and justify this
meal by attaching a healthy aspect to it. However I will tell you this
though – rarely do you find a pizza that doesn’t leave you with
heaviness of wanting to take a power nap at your desk. One such pizza is
the Philly cheese stake pizza that can be found here https://www.hellofood.co.tz/restaurant/t3xk/pizza-pie.
The combination of beef fillet, cheddar cheese, mushrooms; parmesan
cheese sauce makes this pizza the all-time favorite. I guess this is why
I can eat this entire pizza by myself guilt free and still carry on
with the rest of the day!
4.Fish Foil
Some
things just taste better when little pizzazz are added – like ice cream
with chocolate sprinkles or Black forest cake with extra cream and
strawberries. Then again some dishes are at their best when they are
left simple and one of these dishes is the traditional fish foil. Fish
is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids which improves artery health and mental
health, in addition it is said to relieve pain for ladies who experience
unbearable ache during that time of the month! This dish is served with
a side of pepper sauce that will leave you taste buds wanting more. You
can find it herehttps://www.hellofood.co.tz/restaurant/t5wt/lukas-bar
5.Red velvet nutella cake
Last but
certainly not least is red velvet nutella cake it’s made from rich
cocoa, condensed milk, vanilla extract and layers of nutella on top
doubling the pleasure. This great dessert goes well with hot cocoa,
coffee or plain milk. Let me tell you, you haven’t lived until you’ve
bitten in this wonderful overflowing piece of joy. This is the perfect
reward after a hard day’s work; sometimes you just have to spoil and
grant yourself a food-wish. Then this red velvet nutella cake slice is
my ultimate favourite, day or night. Get the cake here https://www.hellofood.co.tz/restaurant/t8pk/sweet-tooth-delight
