JOB TITTLE: CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
REPORTING TO:CEO,BAYPORT TANZANIA
DUTY STATION:DAR ES SALAAM
Main Duty:To manage all Bayport Tanzania business and operational related matters.Responsible for all business objactives(P&L responsibilities) as well as stakeholders engagement
Resiponsibilities:
1.Management activities:
-Assumes responsibilities for ensuring effective and proffessional business relations with customers and all staff members
-Keep the Board informed on all business and operations related matters as well as potential risk and give regular feedback on queries raised by all stakeholders/shareholders
-Manage all operation expenses for the business and responsible for deliver revenue expected ensure that the business is meeting all financial and commercial objectives
-Respomsible for all commercial objectives including launching of new products and services
-Maintain a "delivery of good service"
-Organize and attend management meetings
-All operational senior managers will report to COO
2.Sales and marketing
-Continuously conduct market research through customer surveys
-Grow the client base and debtors book
-Perform presentations to prospective employers in conjuction with the CEO
-Develop marketing plan and compaign and ensure these are rolled out accordingly
-In conjuction with the CEO agree and set business objectives ie.(budget & target KPI'S) and set monthly sales targets and budgets
-Supervise the national sales managers,sales Agents and monitor their perfomance
-Produce advertising strategy and route to market for new products and servises
-Responsible for delivering budgeted perfomance
3.Logistics:
-Responsible for company vehicles and all others assets
Qualifications/Competence:
-University educated(Business degree preferred MBA level)
-Experience in running a sales force,agent and branch network
-Analytical(mine and analyse data)
-Deliver innovative and tergeted solutions
-A financial services,banking or mobile phone background
-Knowledge of Microsoft office
-Retail experience in Africa
-Some technical IT knowledge might come in useful but is not essential
-Valid driver license
-Conduct oneself professionally during and outside working hours
-Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a senior management role
-Candidate must be able to deminstrate an in depth understanding of the microfinance environment
Additional skills:
Candidate must be able to work both as a part of team as well as on their own,Candidate must be innovative and self starting,candidate must have strong interpesornal skills as well as a pro-active and entepreneurial attitude

JOB TITTLE:CREDIT COLLECTION OFFICER(3 POSTIONS)
REPORTING TO:CREDIT MANAGER
DUTY STATION:DAR ES SALAAM
Responsibilities:
-Ensure that the highest standard of loan's book quality is maintained by strictly applying the company credit policy accoerdingly
-Follow up the monthly collection progress with various employers to ensure that both current and errears amount are collected
-Perform reconciliation each month to ensure all clients in loan book are collecting.Ensure monthly recapturing of all non-collecting clients.
-Ensure poor follow up is dne to clients and employers in arrears and this may include physically visting employers and clients to collect arreas
-Follow up deduction schedule/payment slips from employers/customers doing direct deposity of deductions for record update
-Maintain monthly collection report and prepare collection reconciliation for all employers whose payment has been received.Ensure follow up is implemented for any outstanding amount collected
-Prepare consolidated collection report and communicate the report to finance for ferification aginst bank ready for capturing in the system
-Liaise with receipt team to ensure capturing of collection is timely and accurately done.Follow up and ensure that the client accounting status is updated accodingly in the system
-Monitor and ensure that there are no emloyers/clients falling in errears in areas allocated to you for collectio control.
-Make follow up to ensure we recover our bad debts from employees in errears
-Maintain and update the collection chart daily and at the month end
-Maintain a detailed list of arrears breakdown on an ongoing basis as a proof and support of employers'arrears
-Responsible for maintaining good relationship with employers for the purpose of maintaining and fastering a good business relationship
-Any other duuties as will be assign to you by your supervisor in credit department.
Qualifications/Competencies:
-A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business or law related fields
-At least 1-2 years collection experience or experience in a financial institution
-Computer literacy
-Fluent in English and Swahili(written and verbal)
-Interpersonal skills and a great team players
-Ability to give attention to detail(Analytical skills)
-Ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision

Main Duty:
You will be employed primarily in the capacity of country operation manager reporting to the chief Excutive officer and employer at Head offie-Bayport Financial Services to perform the following principal duties
Responsibilities:
1.Basically this will be responsible for the general well-being of all Bayport's branches in Tanzania
2.You will liaise with all Branch and Regional managers and ensure that the following company objectives are met in all branches this will include:
a)Ensuring that all branch time keeping standards are kept
b)Ensuring that all branches have sufficient funds to diburse
c)Ensuring that all branches confirm to the companies HR policy and that all staff conform to the employment terms and conditions as laid out in the manual
d)Ensure that all branch targets are met and take necessary corrective action if they are not met.Yo will ultimately be responsible for the national target.
3.It will also be your responsibility to ensure that all administrative functions are up to date and regulations are complied with all branches
4.It will also be your responsiblity to ensure that the highest standard of debtor's book quality is maintained bya applying the credit policy strictly in all branches.
5.Due to the nature of your job,you will be required to travel extensively

-At least Minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Main Duty:
The job holder is responsinble for evaluating the effectiveness of the company's risk management,control and governance processes and recommends improvements
Responsibilities:
-Evaluate the adequacy and effectveness of internal control,risk management and corporate governance processes
-Determine whether organizational units and functions are performing their activities in compliance with organizatinal policies and procedures
-Report findings and make recommendations for correcting unsatisfacotory conditions
-Asses risk inherent to the operatins of Byaport and recommended measures to mitigate them
-Input in the preparation of the Annual internal audit plan
-Conduct audits in accordance with audit provisions and auditing standards
-Conduct reviews of assigned organizational and fucntional activities and perform special reviews upon request
Qualifications/Competencies:
-A Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business related field
-Part a full professional qualification of CIA,ACCA,CPA OR CIMA is a must
-At least 2-3 years internal auditing experience.Internal auditing experience in banking environment will be an added advantage
-Knoledge of risk based internal auditing methodology is a must
-High level of integrity and confidentiality
-Excellent report writting and oral communication skills
-Ability to give attention to detail(Analytical skills)
-Ability to work well under pressure and minimum supervision
-Creativity and Numerical skills
